Professional installation of exterior mouldings doesn’t have to be complicated. Just follow a few key principles.
1. Preparation
Cut the mouldings to the required length using a saw with a blade suitable for cutting ceramics.

2. Applying adhesive
Apply the adhesive evenly to the back of the moulding and to the wall using a notched trowel.

3. Positioning the element
Carefully place the element against the surface and press gently to ensure proper adhesion. You can also use nails to stabilize it until the adhesive sets.

4. Sealing and finishing
Apply joint compound to all joints and seams, then remove any excess material to create a smooth and even surface. Be sure to fill and finish all connections between the individual elements. Once the joint compound has fully cured, sand the surface using 40–60 grit sandpaper until a smooth and seamless finish is achieved.
